6 NATIONS RUGBY 2025 - WALES V IRELAND

Day 1: Travel to Holyhead for the 9.00am ferry crossing to Dublin. Upon arrival we disembark the ferry and travel directly to our hotel in Carlow, after checking in the remainder of the day is free to do as you wish.

Day 2: After breakfast, the day is free to enjoy match day in Carlow. From student hotspots to award-winning venues, Carlow has it all. Visit one of the vibrant town centre bars to watch the Wales v Ireland match at 2.15pm.

Day 3: Following breakfast we transfer to Dublin, where there will be some free time before our 2.50pm return sailing to Holyhead.

Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is a short walk from the centre of Carlow. Rooms are en-suite & all feature work desks and tiled bathrooms with luxurious toiletries. Hair dryers, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities are also available.

The Barrow Bistro serves fine food all day, cooked by the bistro's head chef, who previously trained Jamie Oliver and has cooked for celebrities and royalty. Guests can enjoy an a la carte menu and an extensive wine list. Guests can enjoy a stroll around the beautifully landscaped gardens, with its impressive bridge joining the hotel to its own private island with picturesque views of the natural backdrop of the River Barrow and the surrounding Killeshin Hills. Carlow shops and restaurants are easily accessible.
