Day 1: Morning departure from North Wales and travel to Leeds city centre. Enjoy some time at leisure, Leeds offers a fantastic range of designer shops, independent boutiques, award-winning dining and trendy bars. You can also visit the Royal Armouries or take a picnic to Roundhay Park. Afterwards we complete the journey to our hotel for a 1-night stay.
Day 2: Enjoy breakfast before we visit the working Emmerdale Village set, located within the picturesque Harewood Estate in Leeds for Emmerdale – The Village Tour. As the home of Yorkshire's favourite soap, you'll step into the familiar surroundings of the Emmerdale Village and wander the streets that the Woolpack, David's shop and your favourite characters call home. This fully guided outdoor walking tour of the exterior Emmerdale sets will give you the chance to explore the village as a guide give you an insight into how the dramatic storylines of Emmerdale make the journey from script to screen.
After the tour we rejoin the coach and visit the small village of Esholt, where Emmerdale’s outside scenes were filmed from the first episode in 1976 until 1996 when Esholt had become so popular with visitors, filming scenes became impossible. You can enjoy a drink at the Woolpack, see the church and the shop. Afterwards we make the return journey home to North Wales.
