The Pan Celtic Festival promotes and fosters Celtic languages, culture, music, song and sport. Wales has been represented at the Festival since its inception in 1971. Festival enthusiasts have enjoyed some amazing highlights over the years – seeing the colourful dancers in the ancient streets of some of the Emerald Isle’s towns and listening to the traditional and modern music of the Celtic Countries.

Itinerary

Day 1 (Friday): Travel to Holyhead for our 8.55am ferry crossing to Dublin. Upon arrival we disembark and continue our journey to our hotel in Abbeyleix for a 2-night stay. Take time to relax before your evening meal.

Day 2 (Saturday): After breakfast we journey to Carlow where you can enjoy a full day at The Pan Celtic Festival.  We will depart at 11.00pm, once the day’s activities are at an end, to return to our hotel in Abbeyleix.

Day 3 (Sunday): We depart Abbeyleix after breakfast and travel to Dublin. There will be free time before the 2.50pm return sailing to Holyhead. Upon arrival we complete the journey home.
