Cardiff is also home to many Victorian arcades offering an intimate environment for shoppers who enjoy an alternative to the well-trodden path of the high street. Perhaps visit nearby Cardiff Bay, a bustling waterfront harbour which, following a massive restoration project, is now jam packed full of things to do. The harbour area is brimming with restaurants and wine bars. The terraces provide the perfect spot for a lazy lunch, coffee by the waterside or to watch the sun go down in the evening.

Alternatively, join the coach for an optional excursion to St Fagans National History Museum. The museum stands in the grounds of the magnificent St Fagans Castle and gardens. Traditional crafts and activities bring St Fagans alive, in workshops where craftsmen still demonstrate their traditional skills. Their produce is usually on sale.
